How to Create a Google+ Brand Page

Yesterday, Google+ announced the hottest new way for businesses to advertise in Social Media: The Google+ Brand page.  Naturally, KMH Kreations was quick to arrive on the scene, and we can show you how easy it is to set up a brand page for your own business!

Step 1 – Go To Website

Head on over to http://www.google.com/+/business/

Step 2 – Select a Category

Local Business or Place

Suitable for: hotels, restaurants, places, stores, services.

Product or Brand

Suitable for: apparel, cars, electronics, financial services.

Company, Institution or Organization

Suitable for: companies, institutions, organizations, non-profits.

Arts, Entertainments or Sports

Suitable for: films, TV, music, books, sports, shows.

Other

Suitable for: Everything else.

Step 3 – Fill out the Product or Brand Form

Page Name: Write business name here.

Website: The URL of your website

Select A Category: The drop down list is dependent on the initial category you chose on step 2.  Since we chose “Company,Institution, or Organization” we selected “Computers & Internet”.

Step 4 – Fill In Tag line and Profile Picture

Fill in the slogan of your business & upload your company logo.

Step 5 – Get The Word Out

Spread the word!  Blast a message to the public letting them know you have a Brand Page!

Step 6 – Bask in Your Magnificence

That’s it!  Your Company has a Brand Page!  You may want to check out the profile section to fill in the rest of the contact details.  Also, you should post something since you just told the world that this page exists!
