Gmail for iPad and iPhone Just Released
Hot on the heels of Facebook releasing their app for the iPad and iPhone, Google announced today, November 02, 2011, that they have finally released their Gmail application for the iPad, iPhone, and the iPod Touch.
“We’ve combined your favorite features from the Gmail mobile web app and iOS into one app so you can be more productive on the go. It’s designed to be fast, efficient and take full advantage of the touchscreen and notification capabilities of your device.”

Facebook Releases iPad App
Finally, the wait is over. Facebook has announced today, Monday, October 10, 2011 that it has released the popular social networking’s websites web application for the iPad. No longer will iPad users have to use the regular iPhone app blown up to 2x larger. The interesting thing about this launch is that it had been rumored for quite some time, but finally has been released.
Why did it Take So Long?
Apple and Facebook have been negotiating for months after the two companies disagreed about Facebook’s integration with Ping, Apple’s music-focused social network. This slowed the process of the applications release.

Twitter For Android Receives Major Update
Any Twitter for android users will be happy to hear that today, July 13, 2011, Twitter officially released the Twitter for Android app version 2.1.0, which allows multiple accounts and push notifications.
The Official Twitter accounted tweeted about 5 hrs ago as I write this, that the new release was available.
